Biography
Damon is a graduate of the University of Utah where he received his B.S. Degree in Finance. His background is in the financial services industry where he worked as an advisor for a Registered Investment Advisory firm. One of his primary responsibilities for the firm was investment research and trading responsibilities for over 600 client households and managing and maintaining the databases and IT needs for the firm.
Frustrated by the lack of affordable and intuitive options in the market, it was in this role where the idea of a customizable robust portfolio rebalancing system was born. Damon relinquished his role as an investment advisor to focus his efforts on building the most innovative rebalancing software for the financial services industry.
Damon founded his first rebalancing software company, TradeWarrior, in 2008 and was subsequently acquired in 2017. Damon felt that innovation had stopped in the space and decided to launch AdvisorPeak in December 2018 along with several industry veterans to continue to bring innovation to trading and rebalancing to the wealth management industry.
