Elizabeth Hinz is a Fiduciary Officer with Bank of the West’s Wealth Management Group serving the Wyoming and Northern Colorado area. As a Fiduciary Officer, Ms. Hinz is responsible for overseeing accounts for high-net worth individuals, families, business entities, and charitable organizations. In this role, she is responsible for the ongoing administration and consultation with clients to inform them of the appropriate fiduciary solutions to meet their unique needs and objectives. Additionally, Ms. Hinz assists clients in translating complex estate, tax, and fiduciary issues and documents in order to serve their family needs and suggest additional options.


With over ten years of experience in estate planning, Ms. Hinz began her career private practice assisting clients with their estate planning and administration needs before transitioning to a Trust Officer and administration role. Prior to her estate planning career, Ms. Hinz spent several years in law enforcement; she served as both a Prosecutor and Law Enforcement Officer.


Ms. Hinz earned her Juris Doctorate at the University of Wyoming College of Law and is a licensed attorney in both Wyoming and Colorado. Ms. Hinz is a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor and a member of the Southeast Wyoming Estate Planning Council, Wyoming Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, Laramie County Bar Association and American Bar Association.
