Geoff works for the Valmark Financial Group in Akron, Ohio. He is the VP of Information Technology. He and his team of experts are responsible supporting the Valmark Infrastructure as well as new product development related to the firm’s MyCase platform. 

Before his current role, Geoff was a Business Analyst for Valmark. Previous to Valmark, he worked as a software developer for Cohen and Company a regional accounting firm and Oak Associates, ltd. an Investment Management firm. 

He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Denison University with a degree in Psychology, Economics and certificate in Organizational Studies. 

Over the course of his career, he has passed numerous certifications and exams. FINRA 6, 26, 99. Microsoft former exams MCSE, MCDBA, MCSD. The PMI-ACP project management certification. In 2020 Valmark was selected as a finalist for Tech Team of the Year from the Greater Cleveland Partnership, one of the largest chambers of commerce in the nation.
